Answers to the questions we're asked most often, before and after treatment.

Do I need a consultation before booking a treatment?

Yes. Every new patient has a consultation with Dr Deepthi before any treatment is agreed, so your skin, medical history and goals can be properly assessed. This isn't a formality — it's how we decide whether a treatment is suitable for you at all.

Are your treatments safe?

All treatments are carried out by Dr Deepthi, a GMC-registered doctor with postgraduate training in aesthetic medicine. The clinic is Save Face and JCCP accredited, and fully insured. That said, every medical and aesthetic treatment carries some risk, which is discussed individually during your consultation.

How much do treatments cost?

Prices vary by treatment and by what's needed for your specific case, so we don't publish a single fixed price list for every treatment. You can find guide pricing on our price list page, and your consultation will confirm exact costs for your plan.

Is there any downtime after treatment?

This depends entirely on the treatment. Some, like skin boosters or anti-wrinkle treatments, have little to no visible downtime. Others, such as certain chemical peels or Cosmelan, involve a period of visible peeling or redness. This will always be explained clearly before you go ahead.

Do you treat all skin tones, including darker skin?

Yes — this is a specific area of focus for the clinic. We're listed with the Black Skin Directory, reflecting experience treating melanin-rich skin safely, including awareness of risks like post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation that require adjusted technique and aftercare.

How soon will I see results?

Timelines vary by treatment. Some effects are visible within days, while others — particularly skin quality and pigmentation treatments — build gradually over several weeks. This will be covered during your consultation so you know what to expect and when.

What aftercare will I need to follow?

You'll be given specific aftercare instructions for your treatment, which may include sun protection, skincare adjustments, or avoiding certain activities for a period. Following aftercare properly affects both your results and your safety.

What if I'm not sure which treatment is right for me?

That's exactly what the consultation is for. Rather than choosing a treatment yourself from a list, come in with the concern you'd like to address and Dr Deepthi will talk you through the options suited to your skin and goals.

How do I book a consultation?

You can get in touch via our contact page, or use the online appointments system linked on our website. If you're unsure where to start, contacting us directly is the easiest first step.
